The healing power of your voice!
Our voice has incredible power to influence ourselves and other people too.
Each voice has a specific vibration which can be harmonizing or disharmonizing.
And there are different things which define this vibration.
Many people think that this is something predefined, like the ability to sing nice, you either have it or you don’t.
But the truth is that there are different components and we may consciously change them.
What defines the vibration of your voice?
The first thing is the emotion behind it. If you are angry or sad the vibration of your voice will be lower and unharmonized.
The other key component is the thought you keep in your mind while you are speaking. If your thoughts are negative, the vibration of your speech will also be low.
And of course, the words you say and the way you say them is the last part of this puzzle. If you are using rude words or you are yelling – guess what happens with your vibration?
And here is the thing – this vibration is toxic not only for the people around but also for you!
But there is another side of this story. We can turn things around by doing some simple conscious steps.
If we use our voice and speech wisely, we can plant and nurture more positive emotions and thoughts and eventually we can raise our vibration.
So, here are a few suggestions that you can apply right away!
Repeat a formula out load
This practice is simple but requires consistency. Find a positive or spiritual formula. Then repeat as often as possible.
One of my personal favorites is by the famous spiritual teacher Beinsa Douno: “No fear, no darkness”. Another one you may use is “God is Love and God loves me”.
Chant a mantra
The next thing you can do is to chant a mantra that has a healing or harmonizing vibration. Here are some suggestions for mantras which harmonize the different chakras
- “LAM”- chakra 1 (root)
- “VAM”- chakra 2 (sacral)
- “RAM”- chakra 3 (solar plexus)
- “YAM”- chakra 4 (heart)
- “HAM”- chakra 5 (throat)
- “OM”- chakra 6 (third eye)
- “OM”- chakra 7 (crown)
Record your voice and listen to it
This may sound strange but have listen to your voice as a listener, not just while you are speaking?
If you have done that then probably it has felt very different or even weird.
If you practice this more often you might gain a new perspective and get to know yourself from a different angle.
Over time this may help you to expand your consciousness and see yourself clearer.
For this exercise I would recommend you to record yourself saying something positive – it could be a list of your dreams and goals or your favorite affirmations.
Make it short – 1-2 minutes and listen to it daily. You can make a new recording each 21 days and observe how your voice and perception of yourself are transforming.
Be mindful of the words you use
The last but not the least is to be cautious of the words you use on a daily basis.
Don’t curse, don’t swear and don’t use rude words.
Because if you do that it will ruin all of the other efforts you might be putting to raise your vibration and use your voice and speech for healing.
Be kind with people and with yourself.
